Welcoming Angela

We are so excited to welcome our newest team member, Angela Hovermale!

Angela is taking on the Residential Policy and Curriculum Manager role at Grace's Table. Her first big project is developing our new Residential Program. She also oversees curriculum development in our other programming areas.

Angela's past experiences have prepared her for this new role at Grace's Table. Angela graduated from MSU with degrees in Home Economics and Secondary Education (plus a minor in Chemistry!). She spent a few years teaching Home Economics in Kentwood Public Schools and, for the last 15 years, has run a property rental company with her husband.

When Angela heard about the opening at Grace's Table, she knew it would be the perfect place to put all her skills to work. She sees her new position as not just a job but a purpose. Angela is passionate about empowering women and the next generation and is very excited to work with the teen mamas we serve. She also loves that she can incorporate her faith into her job!

Angela and her husband have five amazing children between 12 and 21. In her free time, Angela loves to go hiking and be outdoors. She says, "It has all the things - God, exercise, and beauty." She's no stranger to physical activity; Angela is also a powerlifter! She's worked hard with a personal trainer for the last three years and is considering getting into CrossFit.

We love the energy Angela is bringing to our team! You can join us in welcoming her by leaving a comment below.
