Empowerment Groups

  • Tots and Tactics is a parenting group for mamas who want practical tools and encouragement as they navigate the busy, big-feelings stage of early childhood. Together with our friends from D.A. Blodgett, we’ll explore different parenting styles, learn positive discipline strategies that build connection, and share fun, low-cost activities that support healthy toddler development. Mamas will leave more confident and equipped to connect with their kiddo!

  • Bump, Birth and Beyond is a six-week experiential group for pregnant/parenting mamas who want to feel informed, prepared, and confident from pregnancy through postpartum. Participants will work with certified doulas to make a plan for a healthy pregnancy, birth, and recovery. Together, we’ll cover practical topics like nutrition, comfort measures for labor, and how to maintain their health during the postpartum period. Moms will create written birth and postpartum care plans to share with their doctor and birthing partner, so the mama’s choices are clear!

  • Is your little one ready for the big kid potty!? Join other mamas to hear from the great team at Kent County Maternal and Infant Health for a one-night potty training group! This is a practical, session for moms who want a clear plan for helping their toddler make the transition out of diapers. We will talk through signs of readiness, simple step-by-step strategies, common challenges (like accidents, resistance, and nighttime training), and how to stay consistent without power struggles. Moms will leave with realistic tips, troubleshooting ideas, and a doable potty-training plan they can start right away at home.

  • Mama Core (Pelvic Floor Therapy) will help moms understand what’s common after birth and as babies grow—and what may be a sign to seek extra support. Physical therapists from the Center for Physical Rehabilitation cover postpartum recovery topics like pelvic floor concerns, pain, and body aches from feeding and baby-wearing, along with basic pediatric development and milestones. Mamas will leave more confident about next steps and knowing when physical therapy may help.

  • Bloom and Balance is a supportive group for moms to share, learn, and find tools to pursue mental wellness. We’ll explore common experiences like depression, anxiety, and the impact of trauma, while also focusing on practical, healthy coping skills you can use in everyday life. Mamas will gain strategies for managing stress, developing good boundaries, and advocating for their own needs! Join us to hear from guest presenters and other mamas as you find healthy rhythms in your life.

  • We’re talkin’ sex, mamas! Relationships, communication, family planning, pleasure – we’ll talk about it all together! You’ll get insightful information about contraception, your body, and how to develop loving relationships. Join us to hear from insightful speakers and mamas like you as you make decisions about your sex life.

  • There is no manual for being a mama, so let’s learn together! Fun Size focuses on the essentials of the first year—what to expect, what your baby needs most, and how to respond with confidence. Our friends from D.A. Blodgett will join us to talk through early development, building secure attachment, and practical ways to support learning and brain growth through everyday routines. The group also covers safety basics at home and sleep, plus how to identify and use support systems so moms leave feeling prepared, capable, and ready for what’s next.
